what is your FB version?

Are you aware you can just #include "crt.bi" and use the original thing? Sorry, my preferred language is german. I don't know what you mean. I looked at crt.bi & co at sourceforge cvs and found many "c" functions (including the fprintf and sprintf). But isn't it this what the msvcrt.dll in wind...

By the way - is THAT correct ???

A suffix of "f" or "F" on the number portion indicates a double precision (64 bit total) floating point value. An exponent may immediately follow the suffix.

and for octal?
