Re: The Birth of BASIC.
What we can see in the timeline in this video (28:58) after C64 in 1982, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICiZbUypMlQ which was sold over 15.000.000 times, the world awaited a "Super C64" to appear. But this never happened. Commodore has done few attempts, like Plus 4, C128, Amiga and then ...

Re: The Birth of BASIC.
it is a continual annoyance to me that FB does not directly handle sprites(and animation)/PNGs/sound, though I think I understand the reasoning.... sorry, this is just complaining and I don't need to do that... Yes, FB is OK like it is at the moment. But if we think of the things which could be add...

youtube: The basics of BASIC , the programming language of the 1980s Nice to think for the beginning. In this Video you see at 25;06 the commodore +4 with the black case and the cursor keys like arrows which was my first machine in 1986. It has the CBM Basic V 3.5 built in on ROM so that was immedi...

Re: LOAD PNG TO IMAGE
Nice dog! Most of the time i am using libs ,ike cairo, fltk-c or fbimage where .png is included, so no need to care for this. And they all are platform independent. Maybe you decide one day to switch to linux or mac like i did. When only surfing or programming with geany i simply not notice a real d...

Great to have eu symbol as FB routine. Fascinating to see how short code it is in your program. You both are better programmers than me. :-)
