Re: Howto print & draw from own library's Subs/Funcs ? (Solved)

Finally I got it working, seems ;) Longer play, reading, testing manual in deeper detail. No problem with un/load dll with DYLIB commands now. This way fully offers what I need for RAD developing and upgrading huge old app on the fly. (There I have more videopages, btw.) Summary - 2 ways for printin...

Re: Howto print & draw from own library's Subs/Funcs ?

Amazing example, dodicat. Thank you very much !! Playing further with more videopages added and library linked as dynamic, works without problems. Your example was opening my eyes to know I don't stay on halfway. If troubles with 'Dylib' commands discovered, I can, and in final stage I'll move screen...

Re: Howto print & draw from own library's Subs/Funcs ?

I got message "Segmentation fault" - error 139, seems causes by graphicScreen(), or DyLibFree(library) line in your "main.bas". No imagine why; my yesterday tries with 3x called 'DyLibFree' was Ok (based on manual example), but no screen handling there. So now I am able to write ...

Re: Howto print & draw from own library's Subs/Funcs ?

Understand, thanks for info, fxm. So in that case printing check/debug values etc from DLL itself maybe will be sufficient via printing to file and this have opened simultaneously in some editor. While using DLL, reread editor to see computing steps order. But what about drawing ? Is possible to pass...

Re: Howto print & draw from own library's Subs/Funcs ?

More complicated way can be adding next another library into my app - SDL/Dislin etc for printing&drawing, but I really want to avoid that way.

Re: Bit strings ?

Right, I really talk about bit arrays, aka "Bit string datatype" In my code I need to summarize happened events (in boolean sense happened/NOT happened equal to 0/1). My above VERY simple example you can understand as 10 events monitored in time of 50000 seconds. For example event 1 would ...

Bit strings ? ( "Bit string datatype" )

Hi, a special question. Is possible to work with 'bit strings' in easy way in Freebasic ? I would like to spare significant amount of memory and rapidly increase the speed of computations. Say, 10 bit strings with length 50000 each. dim as bit string a(10) a(1)="01110001110100101100....." ?...

break testing printouts ( For / Next one loop )

Hi, one small tip; founded this tricky usefull for shorten create&debug process; in case of 'For-Next' very long loop (of some action). Originally used one more cycle 'Do-Loop' inside of 'For-Next' to detect keypresses and break testing printouts, whatever you want to see if it's created correct...

Re: 64 bit Alt enter problem

Yeah, I forgot to test 'no flag' possibility on Fedora. Usually using screen flags, thank you for this advice. In meanwhile I decided to test another 64 bit distro, totally in RAM. Founded distro named Tahr 6.0.6 (puppy linux 64 bit), because of knowledge its 32 bit old versions. Quick test of your ...
