### Re: Engel's enigma - a simple rotating disc puzzle.

Hi Badidea Thanks for your feedback. Dewdney says "Engel writes that several people adept at Rubik's cube have not been able to get anywhere with the puzzle" I totally agree. Considering that it is only shuffled 10 times it appears to be extremely difficult to me. I have yet to discover wa...

### Engel's enigma - a simple rotating disc puzzle.

Shuffle the two discs and then unscramble them back to their original starting position. Invented by Douglas A Engel and features in The Armchair Universe by A K Dewdney. Requires Multiput.bi ( thanks to D J Peters). I include it in the same directory . The top arrow buttons rotate the top disc cloc...

### Re: 4Balls another sliding block puzzle

My apologies Tourist Trap.

Right click on coloured piece and drag to move. Black indicates an empty space. You can only move into an empty space.

Similar to Simplicity puzzle.

### 4Balls another sliding block puzzle

Here's another slider in the same vein as Simplicity. Just move the 4 coloured round pieces to their respective coloured (home or goal) positions. To slide a coloured piece : right click and drag. A coloured piece can only move to into an empty space ( black = empty). A home or goal square is a vali...

### Re: Simplicity

Thanks to you all for trying Simplicity and for your replies. Badidea, I tried changing Sleep to 1, and on my setup, PCLinuxos KDE 5Plasma, it made no noticeable difference but rebooting to same OS under XFCE there was a definite improvement. However, my mouse setup in XFCE is very sensitive ( the m...

### Re: Shaped Window with mouse area problem

Hi Forgotten Coder, I've modified your original code. It seems better now ( tested on Linux only but should be OK on Windows). Not sure about the 'violent' mouse movement though. Take it easy. #include "fbgfx.bi" Using fb dim e As EVENT dim as integer mxpressed, mypressed, mx, my, mxold, m...

### Re: Geany FBC Build Command Not Working

Hi throwingmuse and welcome, I think the problem is Geany not finding your command line terminal. Go to Geany -> Preferences -> Tools and make sure the Terminal field is set correctly. I had to set mine to xterm -e "/bin/sh %c". You may have to put whatever is your terminal name in place o...
