don't port the sound module directly afair it's borked could be wrong though. ask zire. the same goes for the keyboard input. maybe rewritte all glfw related stuff with gfxlib in opengl mode. can't think of anything else. the code is a bit of a mess don't blame me!

readpixels and drawpixels both need storage and transfermodes set correctly. you might want to have a look at how yagl does it.

maybe consider getting mygl under version controll, that is either cvs or svn. you can get a cvs rep on sourceforce. i personally prefere svn. you can get a free rep at http://opensvn.csie.org/ . people can then checkout the latest revisions sourcecode and get the latest greatest. you can allow to c...

glReadPixels, google with keywords "man glReadPixels". you have to make sure that the Pixel Transfer and Storage modes are correctly set.

freetype is bloaty at least on windows and would add another few 100kbyte to the distri and to all of the resulting apps that use the freetype print version as proposed by VonGodric. well that, or you make people download the freetype.dll on win32 in order to get fb progs working.

the problem for me lies in the fact that yagl does a $%#@ of other things this special lib does not have to do as it doesn't care for it. it's frustrating to see that a new gl 2d "lib" pops up every day with a benchmark showing of how slow yagl is ( don't get me wrong, people playing around with gl...

makes sense, possibly pretty performant. i didn't check your code yet so i can't really tell wheter there's a small fault in there resulting in the better performance or wheter yagl simply sucks :p.
