Hey there dreamerman, nice looking clone you got there.
There is a couple of things you should consider.
Fasten up everything; movement, bullets, explosions. It goes a bit to slow as it is now. |

Well, if Zamaster is right you could have mentioned this peace of information right away, dreamerman. I so hate when people "forget" to do that.
But whatever it is, a port will be a nice thing too.
EDIT #1: Apologizes. I've read the readme and I saw that the GFX was properly credited.
EDIT #2: I agree with badmrbox on the game speed. You need to increase it. And I think there is a problem with the collision. Not pixel perfect? Well, then I suggest you mock it up. Use pixel distances depending which part of the enemy ship your projectile is hitting (important with larger enemies) to make the collision more precise. And is explosion center being spawned from the hitting projectile's center? I saw this mistake many times, an explosion not appearing on the precise location of the “point of projectile to object collision”.

If dreamerman wrotes "... simple a clone ..." it should be sufficient
and zamaster posted the most stolen source codes but Lachie
is to blind or to ignoreant to check this fact
Who in the glass house sits should not throw with stones.

Not all people use the word "clone" properly.
Anyway, I posted my correction the second after your lovely post.
BTW, what's ignoreant?
Are you to ignorant to use a spell checker?
www.spellcheck.net
Anyway, my point is, no need to be mean. Really. |

It's a nice game, but
- You should use the [Space bar] for menus and firing.
- The firing sound is annoying.
- I'm not sure how the airplane can instantly go backwards, or steer left and right without turning.
- I can run into about ten airplanes, and destroy them all, before my plane is destroyed. That seems inaccurate.
- The game asked for my name even though I didn't have a high score.

Because it's a computer game. |

Because it's a computer game. | Even more so, where are the blueprints to prove that it was the plane you were thinking of? :P Blueprints or it didn't happen. |

If you're implying it has to be that way, you're wrong. Standard controls should use [left] and [right] to spin the airplanes, not move them. Also, [up] should be accelerate in the direction the plane is facing, and [down] should decelerate, but not go backwards.
BTW, if the plane gets to the top of the screen, the camera should start scrolling faster. |

Did you ever play a top-down shooter in your life?
Are you pulling our legs?

| Ok people, it is a game. Anything can happen, I don't see anyone complaining about all the other games that appear and there realistic gameplay techniques. I like it. |
