its coded in fb using opengl, I'm just finishing up collision, so hopefully I will have a release within a few weeks of a full running model with collision fully implemented for enemy attacks, bullets, crashing, ect, ect.

did you build a world and get the enemy flying around?
press 'y' to acivate enemy movement.

Not at home on my PC, but I like the picture... seems like Terminal Velocity meets Wing Commander Privateer style cockpit. ^_^ Will try as soon as I can and get back to ya.

Hey nice demo....

I really like the HUD, looks great.

The terrain creaty proggy runs pretty slow though, at first I thought it crashed my PC. Maybe a progress meter and message to the user that it is creating the terrain would be helpful for your next release.

I'm also in the middle of coding a collision detection routine in FB using OpenGL, so if you wanna compare notes, code or ideas then shoot me over an email.

Keep up the good work :-)

voltage, sure, do you use messenger? I have been workin on this progy since before qb?? hehehe the progree meter is a great Idea, i THOUGHT that you could see some numbers on he screen why it counts down? anyways, the reason user has to build the file themselves is because I am limited to uplaod size at fileanchor, the world can acually be built anysize, limitless in a matter of speaking.

@thesanman112: I use Yahoo Messenger, not M$ messenger.

My addy is
voltage_123 @ yahoo.com

or yahoo id is
voltage_123

I couldn't see any numbers counting down at all, the screen resolution changed and my PC apparently froze, no mouse visible, no response from keypresses, etc. The process took about 2 minutes to complete, but after reading the readme (shock horror) I realised you were building a large .txt file.

Any hoop, shoot me an email and hopefully we can combine forces. :-)
