Get it here http://members.dodo.com.au/~pklanham
This has barely changed since i converted it to FB.
It only took a day to convert 5 the modules
Using wrapping functions and subs (and the OPTION nokeyword thing) made the task a whole lot easier
The hardest part was working out how to arrange the sprites memory into an array like in Future lib, FB-ide made replacing keywords a lot easier too.

This is a credit to the incredible flexiblity of Freebasic.
If u want the source code etc, contact me please.

Ah by the way! I love the program!

yes, once upon a time i played rune... but it was heaps more fun making it :P
ive kinda given up on that game tho cos its so dam buggy (its a relic!)

forgot to mention: ive actually added two-player network support as a kind of test for my modification of Cenozoite's chat prog ... hi Cenozoite!
yeah, i just put it all (the networking stuff) in subs in a module etc and made an include file so its more portable.
I added a multi-user approach(ie. more than just a server and 1 client, now its server to many clients) today and it seems to be working just fine, if u want it mailme beanay88(at)hot... or maybe i could post it somewhere

Thanks for making this game. I haven't had a chance to play it yet (downloading now), but from the screenshots, this looks like an excellent rpg!
