Re: Bank Run game show FreeBasic game in YouTube TSD Let's Play series

The game is charming, but I honestly think watching you play it is even more entertaining. Makes me want to revisit some of my old games now. : P

Subbing to your channel - I dare you to play through some of our other old games in the future. ^_^

Re: The Crown of Alegare

Quick off-topic, but since I know Jocke is following this thread, you'll want to read this series as it develops: http://crpgaddict.blogspot.com/search/label/Magic%20Candle The CRPG Addict playing through The Magic Candle. Slightly on-topic, he has a great series of posts about the specific Roguelik...

I remember loving Antiman, too, and I think flashbacks are a great column for the zine. It got me thinking about player generated content, too. There are games outside of the FB community that do this quite well - Voxatron, the recently released game at http://www.humblebundle.com, includes upload /...

Not yet - I suppose we need to figure out a way to recompile the DLL. I'll look into that when I get some free time, but I got hammered with work the last couple of weeks.

Ok, great. Thanks for the info. : ) As for that terminal.jpg, you just have to have that file in whatever directory your .bi is in I've found. That's why I ended up placing your .bi inside my libtcod-1.5.1 directory. But maybe it's still just not working or something and I'm just not seeing the SDL ...

Ok, great. I'll check SDL.bi. Do I need to include that manually to use SDL through libtcod? I did put the SDL.dll in my .exe's directory and haven't been getting any SDL problems, but I also can't seem to keep my program open. : ) Here's my simple test, with your .bi renamed to libtcod.bi and place...

Hey, hey. Works great. I'll be running through that tutorial I linked above to see what happens. Your true / false constants aren't working b/c you're trying to cast to a bool that doesn't exist (and I'm not sure you can cast like this in FB anyways): #DEFINE false ((bool)0) #DEFINE true ((bool)1) #...
